These learning locks will make learning the alphabet a multisensory experience by combining both visual and kinesthetic activities. The Learning locks are self-checking in the sense that the lock will not open without the correct key which gives students instant feedback. Teaching independence to students with disabilities is vital. Part of being independent is being able to sequence events and tasks correctly which is where the sequencing tiles and the hamburger preparation game are important. My goal is to supply students with the skills needed to be successful outside of the classroom.
