My 4th and 5th grade students will participate in the FIRST LEGO League, with their robot. Participating in the FIRST LEGO League helps all students with skills in socialization, problem solving, math, science, working in a team. Students learn perseverance when things don't quite go they way they want them to. Spike Prime is not just for general education students. Several Students with Special Needs participate every year. Watching them succeed in a world that doesn't always see their strengths is always amazing! Even better is the joy they feel when their peers cheer them on!
