Learning happens when we stop thinking that students can only learn one way. Today's students learn by encompassing what they see, hear, touch, and feel. The road to success is paved by a students ability to critically think, to formulate a problem, test their theory and publish those findings. Students need hands-on instruction with the ability to use resources that go beyond what is available in the classroom. The road to lifelong success begins with your donation and participation in this project. Digital scales help solidify that an object weight is equal to its parts. Fraction circles are an essential tool to understanding that fractions are a part of a whole just like a slice of pizza is a part of a whole pizza. But none of these lessons can happen if students cannot remain healthy in the classroom.
