These tools are essential to maintaining the hiking/biking/running/snowshoeing trail at MVHS. Students work each year to clean and maintain the trail as well as work on expanding and building new trails around the school's campus and in the Angel Fire Community. With these trail tools, students learn about conservation and environmental development with a hands-on approach. These tools will also help other classes such as PE. Students are able to exercise outside instead of staying inside the gym. Finally, students will learn about the amount of work that organizations put into maintaining trail systems for others to use.

About my class
