My students would enjoy our new rug because it will offer a warm seating environment during circle time compared to seating on cold tile. As an ESE teacher, it's very important that my students are comfortable when learning because they can easily be distracted. Circle time is where our social interaction as a whole group happens and most of our learning instruction is being introduced. The bean bag will offer a suitable seating area for our safe place. The safe place is an area where my students can go to in the classroom to self regulate their unwanted feelings with the help of the teacher.
