Students will be able to rebuild lost confidence through meaningful art education with quality fine art materials. It is proven that through the teaching of art skills and techniques, confidence and critical thinking skills are developed. Without quality fine art supplies, art education may miss its mark in the role of supporting and enhancing core subjects. I have witnessed improved self-direction, self-discipline, and increased motivation to learn in students as they develop skills in painting, drawing, and sculpting. When art materials are not available these types of lessons are hindered.
