With your generous support, my students will be able to individually demonstrate skills on their own personal lapboard, follow a teacher model, and practice responsibility with learning supplies. Practice in our self-contained environment will prepare my students for successful learning in the general education setting. It will foster their personal responsibility and decision-making skills. Student engagement will increase with the ability to provide a lap board and coordinating supplies to each student. Students will be able to work on their own unique learning goals while attending small groups.
