These books will be an outstanding, and effective addition to my first middle school classroom library. As a special education, 6-8 ELA teacher, I want to have a variety of genres, and themes that my students can choose from to help them fall in love with reading. Additionally, my classroom is beautifully filled with students of different ages, cultures, and races. Students will have the choice of reading any or multiple of these books throughout the upcoming 2021-22 school year in my special education English class. Through these books, students will have time each class dedicated to silent reading so that they can fall in love with reading, make personal and worldly connections, and share with the class.
