These books and activities will continue to enhance the book-rich and interactive space that I strive to create for my students. My library and activities not only equip students to learn about empathy, how to be of service to others, and emotion-regulation, but it is a place that my students can become better learners! All of these activities and books have been chosen with my students in mind-I have watched them the past few weeks of school work through challenges that all of these items address, and I have also asked them what would be helpful for them to cope with the stresses of being away from their parents as we adjust to being back in school. Students will be able to use my office space as a way to explore their emotions, learn about themselves and others, as well as, learn and apply tools that will help them to address their emotional and social needs.
