Students teaching students is a strong concept that really works! Being able to utilize an Apple iPad (along with the learning apps Apple offers) 4th generation will greatly assist in accomplishing this goal. I really wish everyone could see the beauty behind peers teaching and learning from each other new never seen before concepts. By using other Apple products (already purchased out of pocket) all of my students will have multiple explanations of mathematical processes. Technology is evolving around us on a daily basis. It is crucial that we adopt this into our daily teachings for the benefits of the students. Students get really excited when it comes to using new technology that they haven't dealt with before. It is a strong motivator that I know will work. Another benefit this product brings into the classroom is the capability to use the Apple Pencil. In math it is essential that hand writing be legible. Using a fingertip or even many of the current stylus products out in the market it is difficult to write with a steady hand. The Apple Pencil will allow the students to write legibly so their peers may clearly see the thought process put into every detailed steps of any math problem.
