If this project is fully funded a sensory corner will be created in the class. Tumbling mats will create a soft surface where the students can lay and receive preferred sensory input in a comfortable & safe spot. Foamnasium blocks and shapes will be used to create flexible seating options and provide the students with a safe area to climb and move around. In addition to the mats and flexible seating options, light covers will be used eliminate the harsh glare that is produced by florescent lights. They will create calming and soothing light that allows the students to focus with less distraction from the glare.
