These materials will be used to engage students while teaching them critical skills for pre-academic readiness and social emotional learning with their peers. Materials were chosen to address sensory, academic and social needs. Large letters and numbers that can be used daily along with dough mats to reinforce numeracy and literacy will be used with all students. Dramatic play items such as the cash register, baby dolls and tool kits will bring unit topics to life so they can act out what we are learning about in our monthly themes.
