I am requesting math and language arts manipulatives which are going to help my students get hands on practice with money, time, counting, and place value in math and with practice to sounding out and creating words in reading. Students will use these resources to understand how numbers and letters work. These manipulatives will be used in games to engage them even more in their learning. Manipulatives are the greatest learning tool in a classroom! The kids need them in their hands to have their ah ha moments. This helps students connect what they see and do on paper with mental strategies down the road!
