Our 6th through 8th grade Band students are super exited about learning how to play their instruments. These tents we are needing would provide necessary shade and a place where we could have socially distanced outside rehearsals and practices for them to learn these instruments. We are thinking with the students best interests in mind when trying to fund these, as the Texas heat and sun without these tents would be too much to be able to hold such activities outside. These tents would be used every day to provide us with a covered area to teach our students. As the band directors, we are also limited by space as it is. We have one band room to teach two separate groups at the same time. With these tents, we would be able to do amazing things with splitting up the different sections, to be able to supply the students with more individual instruction time making the learning more fun and interactive.
