My goal for this year is to meet the learning needs of all of my students. I believe that these materials will help me tremendously. I have included some different options of flexible seating for my students. This will give students the opportunity to stay engaged with learning without moving around and disrupting the learning of other students. I know it is difficult for me to sit still during long meetings, so I don't blame these kiddos! I believe it is important for kindergarteners to have engaging hands-on activities. Many of the tools I have requested such as the linking cubes, magna tiles, and pattern blocks can be used to help us count, sort, and graph during various math lessons this year. They are also a great way to practice fine motor skills for the kiddos at this age.
