The Kinder Garden Butterfly Effect will assist our class in learning about Animals and Plants! It is our goal to have each of our Kindergarten students raise and release a butterfly into the designated school community garden on campus that houses plants and flowers that are meant to attract and support these creatures!! This hands on activity will create a learning ripple effect that will instill a love and curiosity of Science in each of our students educational journeys! Through the observation of the Butterfly Life Cycle, students will witness first hand the step-by-step process of metamorphosis from start to finish. They will also understand and make the connections of how these insects depend on certain plants to survive and continue their life cycles.
