My students are so young, they are always thinking about playing and having fun. These materials will help engage them to learn through play and focus on activities that are teacher-led as well as through individual explorations. I would like to use these materials in small centers where they can learn to interact with others, take turns, and become independent. Many of these resources can be used at the students' individual levels. The selected games Pop Add to 30, Addition Tower, and It's a Snap will help students become proficient and fluent in adding simple mathematical problems. Many times, students reach 2nd and 3rd grade and do not have the foundation. I would like to give them that foundation! The Mini Magic Board will be a great asset to review and interact daily. Students will have the opportunity to use their hands for learning and will help with their attention span. The Magnetic Writing page is a resource that will be used to model how to write in math. An important skill that must be introduced as early as K. The best part of these resources is that they can be used not only in math but other subjects!
