The materials that I am requesting will be used as part of a Social-Emotional Learning integration into my classes and for a yoga after school program for any students in my school as well as a yoga class for teachers. All students and teachers can benefit from mindfulness and yoga practices which will help them to focus their minds, connect with their bodies, regulate their emotions, express creativity, form meaningful connections, and experience calm and relaxation.
Integrating these practices into school will enhance the collective well-being of my classroom and school community and ensure that my students are happy, healthy, and engaged in school. Yoga, mindfulness, and self-care enable the individual to actively understand their mind-body connection and act upon this knowledge to be in the right place for learning and teaching.
I am a 200 hr CYT who would like to bring my knowledge and passion for wellness to others.
About my class
