My students want to learn and do their very best each and every day. When their sensory needs have been met, they are more likely to succeed in all of their day-to-day activities. From academics to waiting in line, to their social-emotional communication, our kids benefit greatly from a variety of sensory integration embedded throughout the day. Some of my kiddos utilize tactile input as a calming strategy. In a perfect world, the students will each have access to all sensory need supports on a daily basis in order to prevent emotional stress. My students will use materials provided to help them with their social emotional needs and sensory needs. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
