Our students do independent reading everyday for about fifteen to thirty minutes. While they do have desks they can sit at, who wants to be in desks all day long? The variety of seats I have chosen will get them so excited to experience “nature” inside. I want my students to enjoy reading. If I can provide a spot for them to read around the classroom and getting them to actually do it, then I will have succeeded in getting them to like something they originally hated. Reading shouldn’t just be done at a desk. Reading can be done everywhere!

About my class
