Flexible seating is designed to help narrow the achievement gap for my at-risk learners. Trauma-induced backgrounds can make sitting in a hard plastic chair throughout the school day extremely challenging. Therefore, I would like to provide my busy first graders with seating options that will meet their comfort needs so they are able to focus on learning. I have invested in cushions, stadium seats, and three wiggle stools. The additional items will complete my classroom project and benefit students for years to come. Thank you for your time and consideration.
