Flexible seating is designed to help narrow the achievement gap for my at-risk learners. Trauma-induced backgrounds can make sitting in a hard plastic chair throughout the school day extremely challenging. Therefore, I would like to provide my busy first graders with seating options that will meet their comfort needs so they are able to focus on learning. I have invested in cushions, stadium seats, and three wiggle stools. The additional items will complete my classroom project and benefit students for years to come.
