All of my teaching is done from the floor so I can ensure that all my students are actively engaged in each reading and math lesson. Having this carpet would give students their own space and cut down on distractions due to students getting into each other’s personal space. Right now they will sit on a black foam workout mat. This is fine, but it does not give them their own space. Engaging Students during lessons with minimal distractions will increase learning and thus carry over to academic success within the classroom and at home.
