These materials will provide my students the possibility to keep their own personal sketchbook/journal to build and work with each art class. My fifth and sixth graders are growing in their independence and seek their own space to create and this project will generously allow them that space! My fifth and sixth graders will begin each art class with a prompt for their visual journal. I see this journal as a way to preserve their memories in a unique format from their later elementary years that they will enjoy for years to come!
