These materials/books will put books in the hands of students that otherwise would never be able to access them. These books will help to ensure the development of a reading book club at our elementary school. It is our wish to create an environment that makes reading fun and productive for student learning. It is our goal as teachers to use these books to create an afterschool program in which students dive into the bones of these books and discuss them entirely. We wish to demonstrate how powerful reading can be and how important it is in everyday life. We want kids to fall in love with books!!
