These books will enhance my students' everyday learning through frequent whole group read alouds. As students' reading skills progress throughout the year they will be able to read these books during their free time in the morning, and will be allowed to borrow the books to be taken home. As a first year teacher, I want my classroom library to be a place that students can really enjoy and get lost in. With these new books my students will be able to learn about children from all around the world, as well as get the opportunity to see themselves within their reading.

About my class
