Very few of my students have a piano in their home. In fact, very few even have access to a piano at all. Due to Covid, my county received enough funding last year to provide every student with their own Chromebook style device. Students are required to bring them to school daily. I see a huge opportunity to incorporate the devices they already have into music class! With these USB connected small piano keyboards, I can teach piano lessons to every child in a full class setting! This project would essentially create a class piano lab for my students! Every student in the school would have access to a piano twice weekly. Having taught for 23 years, I have invested thousands of hours and dollars in educating my students, and while $1000 is an extremely inexpensive cost to offer a full piano lab, it's more than I can afford on my own. So, I am asking for help. Please help me offer my rural students, most of whom don't have access to piano lessons and probably couldn't afford them even if they did, the very best musical education I can provide.
