Having the ability to choose at a young age allows student to learn how to identify their own specific learning needs so as to set themselves up for success in the future. Flexible seating and the infrastructure to access materials independently builds self-confidence and amplifies student engagement with both their learning environment and peers. Students develop crucial skills in Kindergarten that are essential throughout their educational careers and set the tone for future academic development.
