Since last year when the pandemic began, I have seen an uptick in anxiety and other mental health concerns. I would like to use flexible seating and other materials to make an inviting place for students to come process their emotions and learn about how to cope with their emotions. Having different sensory materials available will help students relax and distract them from any anxiety that they may be facing. As for the feelings journals and other emotional games and books, I am working with our CASE students to identify not only their feelings but the feelings of others.
