These books will be introduced during our morning meetings, read alouds, and to supplement our curriculum. Books will be available for students to read throughout the year in our classroom! My hope is that these books will stick in students’ minds when they come to a tough decision or moment in life. They will help them to learn history, life skills and love. My current library is mostly filled with hand me down chapter books from veteran teachers. I’d love to give it a refresh with colorful picture books and the meaningful lessons found in these stories.
