I chose books to help provide a rich learning environment and foster the love of reading. These books can be used for social and emotional learning as well as integrating into social studies and other subjects. Using books to teach is a wonderful way to extend learning. The book Agatha’s Feather Bed is a great way to talk about natural resources. In the book Agatha talks about where different things come from. She also gives hair to the geese since she took their feathers. This is a great way to talk about giving to others.
