My students are faced with many challenges. Sometimes we all need a place to calm ourselves and refocus so that we can be productive in the classroom. My goal is to create a save space for my students so that they don't have to leave the classroom and miss important instructional time. Autism-friendly lighting in a sensory room can improve a child's focus and attention to detail while in a fun, relaxing and safe space. The privacy divider will allow my students to have a space where the can collect their thoughts and calm themselves using the sensory water tower and the fiber optic lights.
