My students have been in a virtual learning environment since March 2020. In that time, they haven’t been able to access the library in the school or my classroom. This year I want student to be able to take a break from the screen and spend time reading for pleasure. I need up-to-date, high interest, age appropriate books that will motivate my students to find their love of reading. I also plan to read Esparanza Rising with my class as a whole group to get them interested in reading fiction for fun.
