Guided reading and small group intervention have been proved to close academic gaps and increase student academic achievement. We will use the chairs at our small group table where we will provide engaging lessons to help students learn reading and math skills necessary for academic success. Students will use the folder pockets to take books home to read every night. They will change books every day to keep engaged and excited about reading at home and in school. Our students love working in small groups and taking new books home every night.
