The materials and supplies I have requested for my students will help make my classroom into a calm learning environment and help the students learn to their fullest potential. Clipboards will help the students learn in flexible seating arrangements where hard surfaces are not available. Some students do not learn best at a desk, and so providing them with flexible seating can help them perform the best that they can. Fidgets can help those students calm down, move their hands when the rest of their body needs to be still, and help with distractions. Lamps will help set the tone of the classroom, creating a calmer environment and letting the students know that they are safe within the classroom. Dry erase markers will go to the students to help them write out their thoughts and ideas on whiteboards as an alternative to paper when the assignment allows. Thank you!
