As students across the nation return to school after almost two years of non-traditional instruction due to the COVID-19 pandemic; the traditional school setting will be a dramatic change for them. This is especially a difficult transition for kindergartens and first graders, many of who have never been in a school building before. I would like to provide my students with flexible seating options, many of them already had difficulty sitting and staying focus before our lapse in traditional schooling. With the lack of structure and routine this past school year, I feel that giving my students the ability to use stability ball chairs will help my students focus and adjust more quickly to school life.
