My students are so happy to be able to come back to in-person school. The classroom setting and school supplies have a profound impact on a child's ability to learn. Most of my students come from poverty and need accelerated learning interventions. When children can practice math on whiteboards, with colorful markers, and in comfortable seats, they are more motivated to learn and persevere. My students come to school full of energy! Having differentiated seating that allows them to bounce while learning has a huge impact on their ability to focus, learn, and improve behavior. While this seating is commonplace in many schools, it is rarely seen in schools that are Title 1. My sweet students deserve to have every opportunity to be successful.
