In the purchasing of the items, my students will continue to have a well rounded physical education class. Most classes used to be basic team sports but my focus is exposing all students to all kinds of activities they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. They can do this with the frisbee golf and tennis equipment. For frisbee golf not only will it teach throwing and focus but also patience and teamwork. We would have the opportunity to set up the goals outside on our campus and create a mini course allowing my students to understand the game. I will also be able to integrate math into this lesson with scoring and feet measurements. For the tennis lesson, I would be able to teach the students striking with a short handled implement, force, accuracy, and teamwork. Each lesson will be created for all grade levels and adapted to their needs. Creating positive experiences through physical activity and teaching students that there are so many different avenues for staying active is my goal. My students will be able to experience something new and hopefully find a love for the game.
