Through Scholastic News, students learn about multicultural holidays, science, history, current events, and much more. Scholastic News is engaging and exciting for students to read. Scholastic News also has a digital component to extend the lessons and research if a student wants more information about a topic or event. Students love reading Scholastic News! I am also asking for a subscription to Storyworks that will provide my students another fun resource for current events. It will combine information on current topics in a fiction and non-fiction format. This allows students to practice both types of reading.
