My project is to fund basics for our classroom along with some comfort items for my students. The rug will help with the tile floors and having a reading nook. My students have a daily reading time where they can utilize the classroom to read, but with the lack of rugs they have to sit on the floor. Being in a mobile pod we lack storage. The rest of the supplies are for student use in the classroom or storage (in a mobile pod so no storage). My students will be able to use the whiteboards to work math problems, answer class discussion questions and so much more. The laminator is going to be used to laminate student work, anchor charts, bingo sheets and more. My students want to learn each and every day and being able to make learning easier for them is my goal. No matter what is going on in their life they should not want for basics or comfort at school.
