Request #1: FIELD PERFORMANCE UNIFORM Matching dance uniforms promote individual confidence and team spirit! When dancers feel and look good, they perform well. The "stage-ready" look adds an aesthetic value that brings the performance choreography to life! As dancers perform for large audiences outside of their neighborhood, possessing the professional, uniform look is an opportunity to represent the best of KIPP Sunnyside High School. This year’s performance attire includes a performance top, performance bottoms, flesh-toned tights, and gloves. Request #2- ACRO DANCE TRAINING EQUIPMENT Through Acro training, dancers develop the strength, flexibility, and technique to perform individual, partner, and group gymnastic-based skills and stunts. Acro training increases dancers’ range of movement and enhances choreography and performance. The following lists “must-have” equipment to help students develop as dance acrobats safely: folding panel mats, an Octagon Tumbler, and an incline mat.
