These materials will allow my students to create informative interactive notebooks that will chronical our world geography journey. Creating interactive notebooks will enable my students to process information and allow easy access to recall, review, and study information in preparation for assessments. Personalizing their notebook with graphic organizers, notes, writing samples will increase learning as the students will have ownership of their learning. These interactive notebooks will be utilized inside and outside of the classroom with individual and group contributions. This project will enable students to engage in purposeful learning and gain the skills of notetaking, writing, organization, and collaboration while we journey through world cultures. Students learn best and remember information when they are able to actively participate and create in the learning process.
