My Kindergarteners are young, but they see and experience the world in a full way! They have BIG ideas and search for connections between their ideas and new information daily. There is no better way to capture the imagination of a child than through a book. Everyone loves a good story. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Research shows that when students are interested in the material, they are naturally more engaged in their learning. By stocking our class with books that represent the various worlds that my students come from, and giving them the supplies to express their understanding creatively, they will be empowered to let their internal light shine brighter than ever.
