Early childhood education is the foundation in which students build their futures on. Reading is found in every subject. The materials I have chosen will inspire my students to develop a love of reading which will strengthen their foundation and help them throughout their life. Young children learn in all types of ways and providing them with a variety of activities that use all their senses will help them learn better and find pleasure in doing it. Building words, seeing those words in text, building strength in their hands through writing practice, all lead to enjoyment and even a passion for learning.
