Hello, I am a first-generation Latina teacher ready to start my first year of teaching. I will be teaching at a school of need in Chicago. As a Golden Apple scholar, I am dedicated to serve and equip my students with the proper tools to achieve their dreams! Since I come from a low-income background, I would appreciate all the help I can get to furnish my classroom with supplies that make it a better learning environment. I know that my students and I would appreciate all the love and support as we conquer math! As a first year teacher I still don't have all the technology or other materials that can help my student with diverse learning needs. My students will need calculators in order to do some of the mathematics. They will use whiteboards to show their work as we navigate learning still social distanced. Other materials I will use during instruction time, again to be able to stay socially distanced.
