Help 20 little scientists grow their patience and observation skills, scientific vocabulary, and appreciation of nature. The Bird-Watching Window in our classroom will be a place children can choose to visit during free play or other unstructured times of day. Children will learn, record, and chart local bird names and bird behavior while also observing changes in the seasons, including changes in the bird population throughout the year. Give my kindergarteners the opportunity to think like scientists and be active participants in our local environment by helping me build a Bird-Watching Window.
