Our school does not have a library and I am wanting to get a class set of chapter books for our 2nd-6th graders so they can do a class book study. The benefit of this is every child can have their own book and can read at home along with building a class shared reading experience. These experiences can bring about positive change and unity in the class. I also teach Dyslexia so I am requesting some read aloud books to highlight that 1 in 5 students are identified as dyslexic and our students are not alone in their struggle.
