These books and magazines will help our students have interesting nonfiction texts to read to accompany STEM projects and hopefully aid in the success of our school becoming STEM certified. If we succeed in certification , we will be the first in our county to do so. A lot of our students don’t have access to content rich books and magazines like these at home. Also in the lower grades our new curriculum didn’t come with sturdy reading textbooks to send home for students to practice their reading. The magazine subscriptions could be laminated and sent home for students to enjoy and not cause damage to the readers we have.

About my class
