When showcasing student work or reading a book to my class, it is difficult for all the students to see well enough to remain engaged. The document camera will fix this problem by insuring that all students have an equal opportunity to participate in class assignments. By donating to this project, you will allow students the freedom to move around the classroom when working which helps increase their engagement in the activity they are working on. The products I have selected, such as the dry erase clipboards, allow for student to take charge of their own learning while choosing where in the classroom to work. Autonomy allows students to feel in control of their learning and I believe it's important for students not to be at their desks all day, especially when there have been so many restrictions due to COVID-19 precautions. Additionally, flexible seating from pillows in our reading corner allow students to move around the classroom comfortably and provide a great incentive for students to do their best and remain on task.
