Due to learning loss because of COVID-19, many students are behind in mathematics. But getting these Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards to buy activities form All Things Algebra and glue, scissors, and dry erase markers will make math more engaging for them. I feel as though if math is made more engaging, students will push themselves to understand the material and not take shortcuts like they did while distance learning. My students love to do math. This isn’t just a worksheet or out of our textbook. Bringing back their love for learning is something that I am striving for in my Algebra 1 classroom.
