I am a first time teacher and receiving these books will greatly help in building my first ever classroom library. I want all students to feel like they can find something they enjoy reading! My classroom library will be conducted much like a regular library, but I will continue adding books that students enjoy and request. I believe student choice is such an important part of fostering a safe and successful learning environment, so providing my students with choices for books is really important to me, and I know my students would be thankful for a classroom library!
